For the first time in a long time, we donned our glad rags and headed out to celebrate with many businesses across Yorkshire at this years Yorkshire Business Masters Awards, which was held in person!
It has been a tough year for businesses across the UK as many, including us, have had to change the way that we operate in order to work within the new regulations set out during the pandemic. These awards celebrated the successes of the last year and put a spotlight on how businesses have evolved during this time.
As a company, we were shortlisted for two categories - Family Business and the newly created Disruptor – both of which we were proud to be recognised for.
We were over the moon to be announced as the winner of the Disruptor category. To be successful, you needed to show that you were breaking the mould in your category and doing something different. We’ve always tried to revolutionise the sleep and leisure industry by designing products that not only do something different but are also unique and highly innovative.
Elizabeth Colleran, Sales & Marketing Director, says: “Winning this award means a lot to us as a company as it recognises how hard we work to design and manufacture innovative products that ultimately benefit our customers.
“It has been, at times, a difficult year, but we’ve come back even stronger with a new factory, increased workforce and a raft of new products that customers love.
“We can’t wait to continue to be the biggest disruptor that we can in our industry, and we look forward to what the future has in store for the company!”
The Yorkshire Business Masters Awards 2021 took place on Thursday 14th October, where over 250 people came together to celebrate.
