We’re THRILLED to announce that we are Yorkshire Choice Awards 2018 nominees – and now we need YOUR vote for a chance to win!

Our family-run business has been nominated in the hotly-contested ‘Independent Business of the Year’ category, while Liz Colleran – our Sales & Marketing Director – is in the running for the ‘Business Woman of the Year’ accolade.

“We were absolutely delighted to receive national recognition with our ‘Best Manufacturer’ award win at last year’s Bed Show, but it feels great to know that our local business peers feel we’re inspirational in our field too!” says Dragons’ Den veteran Liz.

“We designed our very first memory foam products whilst caravanning on the Yorkshire coast, and the workers who handcraft our award-winning beds for the home are all Yorkshire born and bred; therefore, these awards are particularly special to us, and I congratulate all our fellow nominees!”

Launched just two years ago, the Yorkshire Choice Awards recognise those who have a ‘will to achieve’. In 2017, more than 250,000 people registered their votes and 2018 is set to be bigger and better than ever, with hundreds of local heroes up for awards.

Our nominations reflect a year of crowning achievement, which includes:

• The launch of our new range of FreshTec Sleeping Bags, Toppers and Mattresses – each one infused with cooling foam for a fresher night’s sleep
• Our first ever United States-based stockist Disc-o-Bed received their very first shipment
• A supply chain agreement was signed with Arleigh International – suppliers of the largest range of static caravan parts and accessories in Europe
• Signing a ground-breaking deal with Chinese distributors Broad Brand – taking the opulence and quality of our Hilary Devey Collection to the Asian market
• Rosalia – a second collection of beds and mattresses – was unveiled at last year’s Bed Show
