Careers: Full-Time Production Support Office Administrator

Do you have an excellent attention to detail and organisational skills? Duvalay are recruiting a Full-Time Production Support Office Administrator to join our award-winning team based in Gomersal, West Yorkshire.

Assisting with the smooth running of our Production Office, you will be entrusted to input data into our new manufacturing system with a high degree of accuracy, as well as to assist with the monitoring of stock and product testing schedules.

Using your negotiation skills to deliver cost savings when purchasing materials, you will also help with all HR requirements – including recording holidays and sickness absence. An active listener, you will take accurate notes during our Production Team meetings and distribute them accordingly, while also assisting with general administration duties as required.

If you are proficient with IT – and especially Word and Excel – and are willing to learn the rest, then we’d love to hear from you!

Your ability to work independently and to deadlines; to effectively prioritise; and to handle sensitive and confidential information will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay, as well as opportunities for development.

Careers: Part-Time Sales Administrator

Do you have a background in sales? Duvalay are recruiting a Part-Time Sales Administrator (approximately 25 hours per week) to join our award-winning team based in Gomersal, West Yorkshire.

Acting as a first point of contact, you will handle calls and showroom visits with warmth and confidence – speaking to other businesses and our valued customers in a friendly, professional manner. Building a rapport with ease, you will take orders over the telephone, as well as assisting customers with their enquiries.

Responding to and processing online orders, you will also reply to email requests for quotes and give customers relevant advice. In order to help maintain our efficient Sales Office, your support with various administration tasks such as filing and handling post will be appreciated by the wider team.

If you are enthusiastic, flexible and detail-focused – and you have a minimum of five years’ experience in a customer-focused role – we’d love to hear from you!

Excellent IT skills (Word and Excel) and experience of Sage Accounts are also essential, so we are pleased to offer a competitive rate of pay (based upon your relevant experience), as well as further development opportunities.

Yorkshire’s 2019 ‘Manufacturing Innovation Award’ winner requires a Full-Time Sewing Machinist to join our innovative, passionate and committed team who craft our best-selling sleep-related products both for the home and for leisure vehicles.

If you have experience of using a flatbed sewing machine and 4/5 thread overlocker – as well as putting in zips, laying up and table work – we're happy to negotiate your salary. Our factory is located in Gomersal, West Yorkshire, which is easily accessible via the motorway from both Bradford and Leeds. Working hours are 8am to 5pm on Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on Friday.

Duvalay recently won the 2019 ‘Manufacturing Innovation Award’ and now has a vacancy for a full-time Factory Operative at our premises in Gomersal, West Yorkshire.

Previous experience of laying out and clipping mattresses (or general mattress manufacture) would be an advantage; however, if you are willing to learn a new skill with full training and support, we would also love to hear from you!

Working hours are 8am to 5pm on Monday to Wednesday and 8am to 4pm on Thursday and Friday. Duvalay is pleased to offer a competitive rate of pay, dependent on your experience.
